CODE: LIFE CARNIVAL 2025
On 22 June 2025, the NKF organised the CODE Life Carnival 2025 at DPulze Shopping Centre, Cyberjaya, to close the gap between pledged organ donors and actual transplants. The day began with the Kidney Rush Run, held with JomRun, which drew 1,400 participants in support of organ donation and transplant awareness.
The carnival was officiated by Dr Mohd Syafiq Ismail bin Azman (NTRC), Dato’ Dr Zaki Morad (NKF Chairman), and Dr Norlen Mohamed (MOH). They highlighted the urgent need: while over 400,000 Malaysians have pledged to donate organs since 1997, more than 10,000 patients still wait for a kidney transplant today.
