There are over 20,000 kidney failure patients still waiting for kidney transplantation whereas more than 30,000 patients are commencing dialysis treatment, therefore NKF is determined to raise awareness on the importance of organ donation & organ transplantation. National Transplant Resource Centre (NTRC) of Ministry of Health is the agency that handles all issues related to organ donation and transplantation.
