JOB VACANCIES

An NGO that operates 28 dialysis centres that provide dialysis treatments to patients nationwide, with is now seeking committed and service-oriented personnel to fill the following.

1. WELFARE OFFICER

Responsibilities:-

  • To perform the socio-economic  assessment of patients

  • To provide counselling for patients facing problems

  • To perform periodic review of patients’ socio-economic status

  • To improve patients’ well-being through networking with government agencies, NGOs and community resources

Requirements:-

  • Degree or Diploma majoring in Social Work/Counselling

  • At least 3 years’ experience as Welfare Officer/Social Worker/Counsellor

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in English and local dialects will be an added advantage

  • Be able to work independently and as a team

  • Possess own car and willing to travel

2. CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR / TUTOR

Responsibilities:-

  • To plan, coordinate & implement 2 programmes a year i.e. Post Basic Nursing and Dialysis Assistant course;

  • Responsible to guide the students in all procedures in haemodialysis nursing according to NKF’s standard Operating Procedures;

  • To be an active part of the core teaching team responsible for the overall academic performance;

  • Responsible for monitoring student’s performance in theory and clinical experience as needed for both the courses;

  • To train students to be a safe and effective health care practitioner as part of the renal team;

  • To deliver lectures, tutorials and facilitate students’ project presentations.

Requirements:-

  • Malaysian citizen

  • Registered Nurse with Diploma or Degree in Nursing

  • Posses with renal post basic qualifications with at least 5 years working experience in dialysis

  • Required language (s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Posses own transport and able to travel

3. REGISTERED STAFF NURSE / MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:-

  • To provide high standard of nursing care to all renal patients

Requirements:-

  • SRN Certificate/MA board

  • 5 years nursing experience

  • Must be prepared to work on shift

  • Experience in haemodialysis will be an added advantage

4. PUBLIC EDUCATION EXECUTIVE (BASED AT HQ & ALOR SETAR)

Responsibilities:

  • Degree in nursing or health science, with at least 3 years of working experience

  • Good command of at least two languages in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin

  • Good planning, organizing and presentation skills and able to work independently

  • Computer literate

  • Own transport and must be prepared to travel

Requirements:

  • To promote health screening and health talk services to private organizations, teaching organizations and NGOs

  • To coordinate and organize public education activities such as health exhibitions, health screenings and health talks

  • To plan, develop, implement and monitor public education outreach program and activities

  • To design, prepare and produce educational pamphlets, posters and other publication materials

  • To provide health related counseling to members of the public

5. DIALYSIS ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the Dialysis Centre premises and surrounding such as staircase, window, floor, pantry, R.O room, re-use bay, toilets, furniture, trolleys and etc are clean

  • Prime bloodlines and dialysers prior to haemodialysis treatment

  • To reprocess all dialysers after the end of treatment

  • Cleaning of dialysis machines, chairs, and table each time after termination of dialysis

  • To assist in the stocking of goods in the store room

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM

  • Good team player

  • Passion for patient care

  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels of people

6. ADMIN ASSISTANT (BASED AT DIALYSIS CENTRE)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in ensuring incoming calls are answered courteously and promptly
  • Responsible for general office administration
  • Ensure all documentations are properly filed
  • To liaise with other departments on operations documentations

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a SPM / STPM / Diploma or certificate
  • At least 1 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Clerical / Administrative Support or equivalent

7. INTERNAL AUDIT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Internal Audit in the day to day audit activities
  • Perform various audit tests, sampling and physical count
  • Liaise with different departments/centres to request for documents and audit walkthrough
  • Preparation and compilation of audit working papers for audit test conclusion
  • Participate in audit meetings to discuss audit findings
  • Administrative functions such as stationery requisition, filing and general correspondence
  • Other ad hoc assignments as instructed by the Head of Internal Audit from time to time

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Finance / Accounts or equivalent. Diploma holders who are currently pursuing final year of Degree in Finance / Accounts related degrees will be considered
  • At least 1 – 2 year(s) of working experience in related field
  • Able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia & English
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Responsible and discipline in handling daily work
  • Maintaining confidentiality of information at all times
  • Familiar with the usage of MS Office
  • Possess valid driving licence and own a car (as partial travelling will be required)

8. PROJECT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service Relations & Retention
  • Daily manage and attend to large flow of incoming calls and emails via 5 source channels.
  • Conduct retention of donors via phone– such as offering downgrade plan to donors.
  1. With Project Partner – Appco
  • Coordinate to provide event letters with/for Appco.
  1. With Project Partner – SG Global Support
  • Work closely with CS on donor’s complaints, enquiries, updates, cancellations, upgrades and/or retentions.
  1. Other General Duties
  • Recommend and discuss with Manager on any ideas/strategies or initiatives that may improve sign up of new donors, maintain high retention and on good donor engagement.
  • Assist to conduct research market trends on fundraising and other marketing info with similar NGOs.
  • Assist to liaise with NKF Admin Dept. on annual renewal of road tax for 2 NKF vehicles.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma/Degree in Business Admin/IT/Finance or equivalent.
  2. 3 to 5 years’ work experience in related field
  3. Good literacy of Office Applications especially Excel, Google Docs and Social Media Apps
  4. Possess good sense of urgency and efficiency.
  5. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Able to hold pleasant interaction with donors with the objective to change donor’s mind on cancellation, to reactivate, to upgrade contribution or accept to downgrade contribution plan.
  7. Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin language is an added advantage.
  8. Able to keep calm, handle high volume of donor phone calls and work well under pressure.
