An NGO that operates 29 dialysis centres that provide dialysis treatments to patients nationwide, with is now seeking committed and service-oriented personnel to fill the following.

1. HEAD OF TRAINING (BASED AT HQ)

Responsibilities:-

  • Overall responsible for the efficient day to day operations of NKF’s Training Centre.
  • Develop, plan & implement marketing strategies for current & new programmes including training needs for NKF’s staff, healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Manage the training team & plan its adequacy for future needs.
  • Develop & maintain up-todate database on all programmes applications received.
  • Oversee the timely processing of all student and participants intakes & their enrolments.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities e.g. MQA, NBM, MOH, HRD Corp & etc. for accreditation purposes.
  • Prepare and manage training strategies, plan and budget.
  • Oversee implementation of training programmes, including courses and conferences.

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor in Nursing or Bachelor in Health Care related subject with Diploma in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse with current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience in related field including Management.
  • Proven track record in managing training & education programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong problem solving & decision-making skills.
  • Experience in organizing major seminar/conference an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken).

2. DONOR RELATIONS & EVENTS EXECUTIVE

Main purpose of job:-
To co-ordinate NKF’s Fundraising activities from the general public

Responsibilities:-

  • To solicitation of donations for NKF from members of the general public
  • Develop fundraising strategies, projects and new fundraising initiatives
  • Establish good PR and rapport with donors
  • Work closely with other departments in NKF for fundraising events

Requirements:-

  • Degree in Business Admin, Marketing, PR or any related fields.
  • At least few years of experience in Fundraising OR Sales AND Marketing with proven track record.
  • Preferably worked with NGOs or have the passion to work in an NGO
  • Strong relationship & administrative skills.
  • Innovative in generation of creative fundraising ideas.
  • Able to interact respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Preferably able to converse in Mandarin.
  • Possess valid driving license.
  • Willing to travel.

3. WELFARE OFFICER

Responsibilities:-

  • To perform the socio-economic  assessment of patients
  • To provide counselling for patients facing problems
  • To perform periodic review of patients’ socio-economic status
  • To improve patients’ well-being through networking with government agencies, NGOs and community resources

Requirements:-

  • Degree or Diploma majoring in Social Work/Counselling
  • At least 3 years’ experience as Welfare Officer/Social Worker/Counsellor
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and local dialects will be an added advantage
  • Be able to work independently and as a team
  • Possess own car and willing to travel

4. CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR / TUTOR (BASED AT HQ)

Responsibilities:-

  • To plan, coordinate & implement 2 programmes a year i.e. Post Basic Nursing and Dialysis Assistant course
  • Responsible to guide the students in all procedures in haemodialysis nursing according to NKF’s standard Operating Procedures
  • To be an active part of the core teaching team responsible for the overall academic performance
  • Responsible for monitoring student’s performance in theory and clinical experience as needed for both the courses
  • To train students to be a safe and effective health care practitioner as part of the renal team
  • To deliver lectures, tutorials and facilitate students’ project presentations.

Requirements:-

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Registered Nurse with Diploma or Degree in Nursing
  • Posses with renal post basic qualifications with at least 5 years working experience in dialysis
  • Required language (s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Posses own transport and able to travel

5. ADMIN ASSISTANT (BASED AT PJ 21 COMMERCIAL CENTRE, PETALING JAYA)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in ensuring incoming calls are answered courteously and promptly
  • Responsible for general office administration
  • Ensure all documentations are properly filed
  • To liaise with other departments on operations documentations

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a SPM / STPM / Diploma or certificate
  • At least 1 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Clerical / Administrative Support or equivalent

6. REGISTERED STAFF NURSE

Responsibilities:-

  • To provide high standard of nursing care to all renal patients

Requirements:-

  • SRN Certificate/MA board
  • 5 years nursing experience
  • Must be prepared to work on shift
  • Experience in haemodialysis will be an added advantage
