Our Training Centre has been conducting the Post Basic Haemodialysis Nursing (PBHDN) Programme since 2005 and has attained the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Accreditation since 2017 for this programme. The PBHDN programme provides structured training in the renal specialty for the dialysis nurses as haemodialysis requires specialised nursing care. This 6-month programme aims to equip nurses with the knowledge and competencies to respond effectively to the demands of the kidney failure patients.
Fees
RM 6,500.00 (A non-refundable deposit of RM500.00 is payable within 14 days from the letter of acceptance from NKF as per usual)
Hospital Attachment Fee
RM 1,000.00 (for 1-month attachment at government hospitals)
Duration
Period of training is 6 months

Entry Requirements
Programme Modules
Since the course kicked-off in 2005, there are more than 1000 staff nurses and assistant medical officers who have successfully completed the course with 100% passes to date.
Activity Highlights
Upon course completion, Certificate of Post Basic Haemodialysis Nursing will be awarded.
